Downtown Library: Groundbreaking May 31
The new George W. Hawkes Downtown Library will take another step toward the future on Tuesday, May 31, when the City of Arlington officially breaks ground on the project.
City officials, Library Board members, and library staff will be present to celebrate the beginning of the construction journey. A reception will follow on-site.
The ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, at 101 W. Abram Street. Members of the community and media are welcome to attend, and can find parking options according to this Downtown Parking Map.
