You use chat services every day, for everything from texting on your phone to Facebook messenger to online shopping assistance.  So why not use chat to get answers to your questions about library services?

The Arlington Public Library’s chat service, InfoLive, can be used for a number of questions that you may have, including navigational help on the website. Other topics that can be assisted through chat include:

  • Reference questions – how to use a database, where to find homework help resources, etc.
  • Assistance with eBook and eAudiobook downloads
  • Information about library programs and program registrations
  • Status of items on hold
  • Putting a book on hold
  • Extending the checkout period of materials

The Arlington Public Library offers online chat assistance at the following times:

Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday – Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sundays: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (September through May)
