Payment Plans Rock!

Do you have fines on your account that prevent you from using the public computers? Before you pay $1 for a guest pass, have you thought about setting up a payment plan to pay off your fines?

Here at the Arlington Public Library we know that life happens and we want to help you get back on track with your account. Guest Passes are nice, but they do not help you pay down your fine and you may end up paying more for guest passes than your fine. Setting up a payment plan is easy. To open a plan, all you have to do is speak to a supervisor. 25% of the total amount is due to initiate a payment plan and the remainder of the balance is scheduled over however many months you choose up to 12 months.

For example, say you have a fine of $63. The initial payment would be $15.75. That would leave a balance of $47.25 which could be paid off over six months at 7.87 a month or over twelve months at 3.94 a month. There are no interest fees or hidden fees associated with a payment plan and you will be able to use your card to log in to the public computers as long as payments are made by the due date each month.
