Connect Personally with our New Phone Options

Beginning this Thursday, you’ll have some new options when you call the Arlington Public Library. We’ve updated InfoLive, our automated phone system, based on patron feedback. Please listen carefully to your choices when you call on or after Thursday, as the options will be changing then. Our phone number, (817) 459-6900, is not changing.

The new options will offer all the same services as the existing system while giving you a more personal experience. Keep reading to learn what’s changed and what’s the same.

Beginning Thursday, if you need personalized help, you can choose a branch and speak to library staff there. In our current system, one staff member answers the calls for all branches, then forwards calls as needed. The new choices will let you connect directly to your home branch. If you’re looking for a book, are curious about your account, or have other questions, staff at your branch will be glad to help.

Your survey feedback told us you wanted a more personal phone connection, which is why we’re connecting you directly to branches!

InfoLive will still provide recorded information about our library system. Call us to hear details on locations and hours, renewing items, fines and fees, or how to get a library card. This recording is available 24/7, including on City holidays and outside our normal business hours.
