Whole Foods Community Giving Day to Support Arlington Public Library
On Thursday, April 19, Arlington shoppers can stock up on groceries and support their Library at the same time, thanks to Whole Foods Community Giving Day. Five percent of net sales at the Whole Foods Market in north Arlington will benefit the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library, the Library’s non-profit fundraising group.
The Library has participated in Community Giving Day in the past, most recently when the new Downtown Library had just begun construction.
“We’re thrilled that Whole Foods has supported us through the entire Downtown Library project,” says Development Coordinator Andi Davis. “Working with Whole Foods for Community Giving Day is a great way to let people know about the Library and literacy services in Arlington.”
Library staff and FFAPL volunteers will be on-site at Whole Foods on April 19 to engage with shoppers and encourage them to support the Library.
Whole Foods is located at 801 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011 and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
