Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find the convention once I get to UTA?
ArlingCon is held in UTA’s University Center. Click here for a campus map. Inside University Center, maps and signs will direct you to convention events.

Where do I park?
View a map of UTA parking lots here. Lots F11 and F12 are closest to the University Center. Parking is free.

When is the convention?
ArlingCon is a one-day convention. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 18, 2016.

Is there a cost to attend?
No. ArlingCon is a free convention, put on by the Arlington Public Library, UTA Libraries, Wild West Comics, and our many generous sponsors.

Is registration required?
No, registration is not needed to attend or participate. If you wish to vend, sell art, or volunteer, please see our applications here.

Can I get a booth or an artist’s table?
We welcome vendors and artists while space allows. Click here for more information and to apply.

Can I volunteer with ArlingCon?
Absolutely! We encourage attendees to volunteer in between conference sessions. Click here for more information and to register.

Is cosplay allowed?
Yes. Cosplay is encouraged at ArlingCon. See our Cosplay page for more information, including contests and shows.

Can I buy food?
UTA’s Connection Cafe will be open all day long, just for ArlingCon!

Can I take pictures?
Photos of or with other ArlingCon attendees are allowed only with their permission. Ask before you take a picture!

Can I promote my own event at ArlingCon?
Yes, you can. We welcome handouts and promotional materials at our flier table. All materials are subject to approval by ArlingCon staff.
