Library Cards for Kids
My First Library Card
It is important from the very beginning to read and sing to our babies and to help them slowly enter the world of print, song, rhyme and story. The library staff are ready and waiting to give children (newborn through 3 years old) these beautiful new cards! You can apply online, download an application, or visit any Arlington Public Library location to sign up.
Frequent User Card
Get your Frequent User Card stamped every time you attend a library program for little ones (such as storytime) or check out books using your new My First Library Card! When your card is fully stamped, turn it any to any of our seven locations to be a part of our monthly drawings for fabulous gift basket full of baby-friendly items from Lakeshore Learning! Remember to pick up a new card when you turn in your full card. Babies can send in as many completed frequent user cards as they want. Families are eligible to only win one gift basket.
The last drawing for the frequent user card will be May 2012!
GOcard
We want all elementary age children in Arlington to have their own GOcard, the library card for children ages 4 to 12.
