Age appropriate story times help build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. They provide a fun atmosphere and safe environment for parent and child to bond and share time together at the library.

Family Storytime (all ages)
Story time for the whole family! Books, songs, rhymes, movement activities and more! This program reinforces the life long love of learning and offers parents, caregivers and children reading techniques.

Daddy Time (0-2)
Special, fun, early-literacy story time for children and their dads (or father figures). This program is designed specifically for babies and provides a nurturing environment between father and child.

Thursdays 6:30 -7:30 p.m.
Bouncing Babies (0-2)
Develop baby's pre-literacy skills during this special lap sit story time for infants. This story time will introduce a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during parachute play and play time. 30-45 minutes program.

Toddler Time (2-3)
Two year olds love to talk and move around. This interactive story time will feature short stories, finger plays, action ryhmes and song. Toddlers will be introduced to sounds, letter recognition and new words that will help them grow into pre-readers. 20 to 30 minute program.

Wee Read (3-4)
Wee Reads focuses on parent-child interaction during storytime. It is an hour long storytime that uses a variety of activities to help babies and toddlers with language acquisition and pre-literacy skills. Classes will provide parents with information, handmade toys and effective tools to entertain, comfort, observe and interact with their child. These classes are designed for 3-4 year olds but younger children are welcome as well. Visit our blog for current program information and calendar dates. Hour long program.

Preschool Storytime (3-7)
Pre-readers will improve on literacy skills needed to get ready for school during preschool storytime. This program will feature longer books and a variety of activities such as puppetry, dramatics, simple crafts, flannel boards and interactive activities. 30 minute program.
