Arlington Reads is about bringing people together to make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors and our community. We are searching for dedicated volunteers to provide free, one-on-one or small group tutoring to adults in English to speakers of other languages, basic literacy, computer literacy, English conversation circles, health literacy, GED preparation and Citizenship preparation. With improved literacy skills and the confidence that comes with them, adults are able to pursue a better life and a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.

Do you prefer working with children? We also have opportunities for one-on-one tutoring for children in first, second and third grade. Tutors help students with homework, read books with them and play academic board games! This is a wonderful opportunity for teens looking to give back to the community.

For more information about tutoring with our program call 817-275-3321 or complete our volunteer form. We would love to have you join our team of committed volunteers!
