The Arlington Public Library System has several resources to help you through the Tax season. You can stop by your local library to get the tax forms* you need, or pick up books and other materials available to help you complete your taxes.
Please note, library staff are unable to give tax advice but will be happy to help you locate the resources you need.

AARP Tax Aide
is the largest, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance
service in the nation, and it is free. AARP Tax Aide volunteers
will be in the Arlington libraries from January 29 until
April 15 to help low- and middle-income taxpayers fill out their
federal income tax returns.

library near you. AARP Tax-Aide also provides
online assistance that includes a list of frequently asked
questions and a form to email questions to Tax-Aide volunteers.

Free volunteer income tax assistance to low and
middle income families that may be eligible for the Earned Income
Tax Credit (EITC) is offered by The Arlington Assets for Working
Families, a partnership of the City of Arlington, the Arlington
Human Service Planners, United Way, the Community Tax Centers, and
AARP.
IRS-trained volunteers can help eligible workers claim the EITC and
other tax credits and receive refunds in 7-12 days
through e-filing. To review income qualifications or for information
