I have been working with the APLS since 2002, and in this position since fall 2008. As a Public Services Coordinator, it is my job (in essence) to make sure that the library is kept running smoothly - with a courteous and knowledgeable staff, and items that are readily available on the shelf for anyone to find. I have several different tasks that help accomplish this, and I am lucky enough to work with an outstanding team - but one of my favorite things about this job is when I have the chance to work at the Customer Service desk myself and help people face-to-face.
