Are you in need of some Halloween fun? This year the Arlington Public Library is bringing back some of its signature Halloween events along with new events for teens and adults.

These events are free, and no registration is required. Though not required, costumes are highly encouraged. These are intended to provide a safe space for Arlington residents wanting to have a fun Halloween weekend.

The Library also offers other spooktacular options for those wanting to spend a cozy weekend indoors. From children's books to horror classics from authors like Stephen KingAnne Rice, and Dean Koontz. And don’t miss out on our wide collection of DVDs: Hocus PocusBeetlejuice and so much more!

Trick-Or-Teens

Friday, October 29, 2021, 7 - 9 p.m. at Southwest Branch Library

The Southwest Branch Library will be locked down for an after-hours program just for teens! We’ll have crafts, anime, spooky bonfire stories, a scavenger hunt, and a costume contest.

Murder Mystery: Halloween! (Disco Themed)

Friday, October 29, 2021, 7 - 8:30 p.m. at George W. Hawkes Downtown Library

Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with the murder mystery starting at 7 p.m. Attendees will play detective for the night and gather clues from Suspects to try and solve the case. 1970’s wear is highly encouraged! For adults 18+.

Put on your craft hat! In today's Maker Teens, we will be making wizard wands. This program will be limited to ten participants and will be first come, first served. It is intended for teens ages 13 - 17 only.
