The Arlington Public Library wants to honor those that are no longer with us this upcoming Día de los Muertos. We invite the community to submit photos of their loved ones who have passed for our ofrendas. The ofrendas will be on display at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library and the East Library and Recreation Center.

Please submit scanned or digital copies of photos. By submitting these pictures, you are giving consent for the Arlington Public Library to use these photos for a public display.

The community is also invited to celebrate their loved ones through art, live performances, family activities, and more. Our Día de los Muertos Celebration will be Saturday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Library and Recreation Center at 1817 New York Ave, Arlington, TX 76010. Día de los Muertos is a celebration that honors the lives of those who have passed on. A traditional part of Día de los Muertos is building an ofrenda with pictures or mementos of family and friends.
