Traveling coast to coast, the Digital Bookmobile National Tour is making an Ebooks & Espresso stop in Arlington at the Lake Arlington Branch Library on March 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Community members are invited to this interactive exhibit to learn about and try ebooks, audiobooks and more available from the Arlington Public Library. Coffee will be provided. This event is free and open to readers of all ages.

Arlington Public Library staff and eReading experts will be available on the Digital Bookmobile to guide visitors through the easy process of borrowing digital books. Readers with a valid library card can borrow their favorite titles 24/7 by visiting arlingtonlibrary.org/digital or by downloading the library's one-tap reading app, Libby, powered by OverDrive.

“Ebooks open up a new world of reading opportunities,” says Ian Brezina, the Lake Arlington Branch’s Public Services Coordinator. “We’re excited to host the Digital Bookmobile and help readers discover more options.”

Readers at all levels of comfort and familiarity with ebooks are welcome at the Digital Bookmobile. Staff will facilitate one-on-one tutorials to help visitors borrow and read or listen to ebooks and audiobooks. Equipped with interactive workstations, touchscreen activities, devices to sample titles and more, the Digital Bookmobile has everything a reader needs to get started.
