The Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library are holding book drives in July and August. Whether you’re decluttering your home or making room on your shelf for more books, the FFAPL will gladly accept your donations!

Visit the FFAPL’s warehouse at 2205 W. Division St., Suite G4 on July 18 and 20 or August 15 and 17 to deliver items. The warehouse will be open to the public for drop offs from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day. Donations can be brought to any Arlington Public Library location during normal business hours, but these book drives are a great way to give large quantities at once.

Donations are unconditionally given to the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library to be used in their unrestricted discretion. Depending on a few factors such as condition and popularity, the library may add your materials to our collection for check out. The FFAPL collects all other donations to sell in the Sun Club Sustainability Shop at the Downtown Library and in twice-yearly book sales.

The FFAPL accept books, DVDs, CDs, most magazines, records, puzzles, games and many other items in good, clean condition. Click here for the full list of acceptable donations.
