Storytime is one of our favorite things here at the Arlington Public  Library. Starting on Tuesday, September 1, virtual storytimes will be available on the Library’s Facebook page every weekday and Saturdays in September and October! Families can still receive free early literacy services through these digital storytimes and see their favorite storytellers.

Our children's team will be offering virtual storytimes all throughout September and October on Facebook. Join us on Facebook Monday through Saturday to enjoy the following:

  • Art Storytime, Mondays from 2:15 PM - 2:30 PM

  • Baby Time, Tuesdays from 11:15 AM - 11:30 AM

  • Family Storytime, Wednesdays from 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM

  • Disability Playgroup, Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 11:15 AM

  • Cuentos en español, Fridays 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM

  • Saturday Storytime, Saturdays 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM

Storytimes help children foster a lifelong love of books, reading, and learning--and can offer comfort and bonding in strange and uncertain times.

Our digital storytimes offer the same literacy tips and activities as our traditional storytimes, so enjoy them as a family. They're also great to play for your children while making lunch or taking care of something around the house.

Parents are their children's' first and most important teachers and the Arlington Public Library is always here to support you as your children grow. Click here to see the Library on Facebook, or click here to see our pre-recorded online storytimes.
