Show us what unity looks like in your community! The Arlington Public Library is hosting the Unity Art and Poetry Contest throughout April. Arlington residents are encouraged to submit an art piece or poetry from April 1 through April 30 that reflects what unity looks like to you.

The contest is open to school-age children, teens, and adults. Prizes will be awarded in each category for first, second, and third place. Winning entries will be displayed in the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library lobby.

Simply complete the entry form and upload your original image or document at https://arlingtonlibrary.org/unity-art-poetry-contest

Arlington is a diverse and vibrant city. Our citizens represent a variety of rich cultures and valued experiences, and we are excited to celebrate unity within our communities across Arlington.

The Unity Art and Poetry Contest is generously sponsored by the Otis & Rosie Brown Foundation whose mission is to highlight extraordinary people, organizations, and corporations who utilize ordinary resources to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
