AT&T is discontinuing support for email-to-text message delivery on June 17, 2025. This means that messages sent to an address like 12345@txt.att.net will no longer be delivered as texts.

Our library’s text message notifications use this email-to-text method.

We encourage patrons to switch to more reliable email notifications. Patrons can update their account online, call us for help, or visit us in-person at any location.

Below are step by step instructions on how to switch preferences from our website.

  1. Click “My Account” in the top right corner of the screen

  2. Log in

  3. On the left of your screen, click “My Record”

  4. Click “Contact Information and Preferences” and then scroll all the way to the bottom of this section

  5. Make sure that your preferences have been changed to email for both your library notices and your e-receipts

  6. Once changed, click “Submit Change Request” and you’re done!

If you are still in need of assistance, please fill out our Notifications Preference Form.
