About Adult Education

The Arlington Public Library, in conjunction with Workforce Solutions of Tarrant County, offers classes for adult residents of Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Erath, and Somerville County. Our program aim is to help individuals in our county improve their position in the Texas Workforce. We currently offer ESL classes, GED preparation classes, Internationally Trained professionals and various career trainings. These classes provide a route for adults to gain the knowledge, skills, and potentially, credentials to go from having a job to entering a career. To begin your enrollment journey with us, please attend one of our monthly information sessions. They are listed on the library calendar. At the session, we provide further information about our classes such as schedules, required documentation and other class information. We hope to be a part of your career journey!
