On November 13, 2024, OverDrive retired the MP3 audiobook format from the OverDrive library and ended support for Overdrive’s desktop app for Windows and Mac. OverDrive users will no longer be able to listen to audiobooks from Overdrive in a MP3 format.
Library card holders can still listen to e-audiobooks using the following options.
- Stream on a computer using the “Listen now in browser” format on the library’s OverDrive website
- Stream on a computer using https://libbyapp.com
- Download for offline listening using Libby on a supported Android, iOS, or Amazon Fire device
