Wanting to visit the new Downtown Library, but not sure where to park? Here's a handy map, and a list of some of the parking near the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library!

  1. The 101 Center Garage, across the street from the library, has one and a half levels of free parking reserved for the library and Downtown Arlington visitors. 
  2. Just outside the library, along Center Street, there are 10 handicap back-in parking spaces with additional handicap spaces are located on the west side of the building, at Pecan and Main Street. 
  3. Back-in parking along the east side of Center Street, as well as Mesquite Street.
  4. The City Hall lot has public spaces available every day of the week. The entire lot is available to the public after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends.
  5. Front Street parking lot, next to Babe’s Chicken Dinner House and Mellow Mushroom.
  6. 2 Hour parking spaces are available on Main Street
  7. Additional street parking is available throughout Downtown Arlington.
