The Arlington Public Library has been awarded a grant of $10,000 by the National Endowment for the Arts in support of free art education for the public. The Library will seek artists to work in residence, provide classes, and display pieces in an exhibition. The free classes and exhibit will be open to patrons beginning in January 2020. The artists selected will be chosen based on two parts – the ability to produce a small gallery showing of visual arts and provide 3-4 education classes to the community. Each artist selected will receive a $1,000 stipend.

Deadline – August 15, 2019
