We’re excited to announce that two of our locations will be getting an upgrade! The Ron Wright Lake Arlington Branch will begin renovations on August 11 with estimated completion around mid-September. The Northeast Branch will begin renovations starting Thursday, August 14, 2025; estimated to last until November.
The Ron Wright Lake Arlington Branch is renovating its retaining wall. During construction, a portion of the sidewalk and adjacent Green Oaks Boulevard may be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. These improvements are expected to be complete in September.
The Northeast Branch will undergo repairs to its accessibility ramp as well as roof, window and front door replacement. While the doors are being replaced this fall, patrons will be directed to a temporary entrance on the east side of the building. During construction, part of the parking lot will be closed, and the handicap parking spaces and accessibility ramp will temporarily relocated to the east entrance as well. This project, approved by Arlington voters in the 2023 Bond Election, is expected to be complete by November.
Both locations will be open but there may be more noise and dust as work crews complete the renovation. Thank you for your patience as we work on these projects to improve our locations for the community’s enjoyment and allowing us to serve you better.
