If you are an author interested in sharing your expertise or creative work at our library, we invite you to complete our Author Interest form. We welcome both aspiring indie authors and established writers to participate in Library events and programming. Whether you're seeking to embark on your first publishing venture or aiming to expand your existing body of work, our library is dedicated to providing valuable resources and opportunities to authors at all stages of their careers. The Arlington Public Library is proud to support and collaborate with the writing community in Arlington and surrounding North Texas cities.
If you have a book that you believe would enrich our collection, we encourage you to submit your work through our Suggest An Item form. We look forward to collaborating with you and celebrating the diverse voices and stories that enrich our library's collection. Self-published works must meet the same criteria as materials purchased from traditional publishing houses. In evaluating local authors criteria include quality of writing, professional level editing, art and illustrations, quality of binding, and overall accuracy.
