Nick Solis is an award winning author with books such as The Staring Contest, The Color Collector, My Town, Mi Pueblo, and The Littlest Grito. He has been the recipient of the Water Dean Myers grant from We Need Diverse Books, and was nominated for the 2020 Austin SCBWI Cynthia Leitich Smith Writing Menor Award. He is also an award winning elementary teacher and has taught all over the world.

We are happy to host Alicia Salazar for a special Dia de los Ninos event! She is a Mexican-America children's book author and former elementary school teacher and marine biologist. She is the author of the popular Camila series, which focus on the many adventures of the title character, Camila Maria Flores Ortiz. She has also authored books regarding Dia de los Muertos, the Loch Ness Monster, and Trolls.

Kari Lavelle is the award-winning author of the ever popular series Butt or Face?, We Move the World, and Ode to Grapefruit: How James Earl Jones Found his Voice. Lindsay Leslie is the author of This Book is Spineless, Nova the Star Eater, Dusk Explorers, and So You Want to Build a Library. Both authors love working and writing for children.
