Arlington Public Library is excited to announce that the Southwest Branch Library is getting new carpet! As a result, the Southwest Branch will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, August 5, 2024. During this time, holds will be available for pickup in the lobby as well as updating and getting a library card, but with an adjusted schedule (see below).
Residents will be able to pick up holds, return items, get new library cards, and renew them. There will be no access to public computing or mobile printing at this time and the library kiosk will be unable to conduct financial transactions.
We anticipate reopening on Friday, August 16, 2024.
