Arlington Public Library is partnering with local and free resources to create a one stop shop of information geared towards our Spanish speaking population.

The Arlington Public Library is proud to present Authors in Arlington, a new program focused on connecting the community with popular and influential authors. We are happy to host Miguel Briones, an award-winning educator, community organizer, public speaker, and self-published author and illustrator of the bilingual children's book Macho no Machismo.
Please join us for this special event to learn more about Miguel's life and becoming an author, his writing, and his books. Afterwards we will have a moderated Q&A session as well a book signing for those who would like to have their books signed.

To celebrate and learn about Hispanic Heritage, the library is hosting an Art and Cultural Festival on October 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.
To make this a real community affair, we are seeking your art! Arlington Public Library is putting out a call for Hispanic art and artists to display some of their work during the event. The submission deadline is Sunday, October 6th at midnight.
The work will be displayed during the Arts and Cultural Festival which is an all-ages event. Submissions must follow all library display guidelines found on our website.
