National Volunteer Appreciation Week 2025 takes place from April 20–26, and it’s the perfect time to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of our volunteers.

At the Arlington Public Library, volunteers are essential to everything we do. From assisting with programs and organizing our collections to supporting outreach efforts and more, our volunteers play an important role in our library system. We’re proud to have over 200 dedicated individuals who generously give their time, and we’re grateful for their hard work.

Volunteering at the library is a great way to give back to your community, make a meaningful impact, and grow personally and professionally. We offer opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds—there’s something for everyone!
