The Arlington Public Library would like everyone to join us as we go on a fantastical journey filled with magic and adventure during our Day of Dungeons & Dragons! We will be hosting D&D themed activities for fanatics of all ages at our Downtown Library on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The day’s activities include D&D Free Play sessions, Oneshot Campaigns written by our Oneshot Writing Competition Winners, character building activities, mini figure painting, and more.
D&D Oneshot Writing Competition
Young writers are invited to participate in our Dungeons & Dragons Oneshot Writing Competition. The contest is open for ages 9 to 17. Winners will be chosen for tween and teen-age divisions. The winners of each division will have the chance to act as Dungeon Master for their Oneshot on Dungeons & Dragons Day. Submissions will be accepted from Monday, February 10th to Monday, March 10th. Competition winners will be announced on Monday, March 17th.
We will host two writing workshops for those who would like help getting started or have questions about the process of writing a D&D Oneshot.
