The Arlington Public Library would like to welcome everyone to our new website that will go live Thursday, September 27, 2024. You may have noticed that the website looks a little different, so let us walk you through the changes we’ve made.

Starting at the top, we have now made it more noticeable to change the language of the website so all patrons can receive the same information with ease. We have also made it more convenient to either sign up for a library card or to look at your account.

Looking at the top menu options, we have grouped our Youth, Teen, Adult, and Senior programs together under the “Services” menu. You might also notice that our menus are now sectioned out by what you might be looking for, so it is easier to find what you are looking for.

While our slider will be the same as the old website setup, the new buttons below the slider are something we are very excited about! These buttons are our more frequently requested services and will take you to their designated pages.

Below those fun new buttons is where our calendar and blog live. While only a few events show at one time on our page, clicking “See more events” takes you to our whole calendar full of fun and engaging programs. Our blog will be where you can read articles that has the latest Arlington Public Library news.

At the bottom of our page, we have now added a button for those who are interested to subscribe to one of our newsletters with multiple topics for everyone!
