Learn to Improve your Health at the Library's Community Care Fair

Arlington residents are invited to participate in an upcoming Community Care Fair, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the East Library and Recreation Center, located at 1817 New York Ave.

The fair will include a variety of health, wellness and community organizations as well healthy living classes in English and Spanish, giveaways, and more. Vendors will share information about gardening, counseling, dental care, healthy living, wellness, immunization, and information about Pre-K enrollment at Arlington ISD.

The goal of this event, is to increase health awareness and exposing the community to local organizations that facilitate healthy living and lifestyles. The attending organizations cover a wide range of health and wellness topics and can benefit people of all ages in the Arlington area. The event is free and open to the public.

10:30am to 11:15am:  Move & Groove (Physical Activity) - Provides fun, creative ways to incorporate more physical activity and exercise into your day and the many physical and mental health benefits. Also, provides the components of a balanced exercise program and examples of each. Participation in activities is optional and all ages are welcome.

11:45am- 12:30pm: Muévete y Disfruta: Actividad Física
