Special Projects & Events Volunteers

Special Projects and Event volunteers are as needed throughout the year. These projects and events can include:

City Wide library events or holiday specific, or monthly celebration such as Black History Month Festival, Dia de los Ninos, Discover Summer Kickoff, or Hispanic Heritage Celebration etc...

Tasks/Roles at these events can include:

  • Greeting guests
  • Manning craft and activity tables
  • Providing general information about library programs & services
  • Redirecting patrons, and guests to library staff who need further assistance
  • Assisting with setup, implementation & breakdown

Please note: To be considered an active volunteer, you will need to volunteer and gain hours within 6 months of applying or your volunteer application will be archived.
