Long-Term Volunteers

Long-term volunteers are those who are looking to become partners with the library. They are looking to invest their time and build relationships with the library staff and community. 

They are committed, consistent, and stick to a regular schedule!

You can also volunteer long-term for a Library card! Non-resident volunteers actively serving at Arlington Public Library (8 hours of service per month) are exempt from the non-resident fee. Proof of residence and exception must be validated monthly to renew the account. You must volunteer and accumulate your 8 hours first in order to obtain a card.
