We want to help your tween in creating new and unique experiences as they explore the transition from childhood into their teenage years. We have some technology, programs, and other educational resources to help them on their journey. Tweens receive great development and are encouraged in a nurturing, safe and fun environment.
STEM Education
STEM is science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We provide a variety of programs that allows our younger patrons to explore and discover a love of STEM fields.
Tween Technology
We have specialized devices, computers, and video game consoles just for our patrons ages 9 to 12.
Events & Programs
We have fun and engaging events throughout the year for tweens as they make the transition from child to teen. Check our calendar often for programs, events, and classes that will interest your tween.
Study Rooms
The Kindness Room in the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library is a group study room reserved for use by tweens. This room is perfect for working on group projects, studying or collaborative thinking. See a staff member to reserve this room.
