The Arlington Public Library is proud to announce that we are recipients of the 2025 Texas Book Festival Grant. This $2,500 grant allows us to further support our community by growing and improving our collection.  The Texas Book Festival supports libraires across Texas by improving their print, e-book, and audiobooks collections.

The funding has been used to expand our e-book collection with 204 new read-along titles for early readers. These books feature audio narration paired with text that highlights each word as it’s spoken, providing support for children in the early stages of literacy. Read-along books also offer an easy way for caregivers and children to bond and read together. All of these books are available online so families can enjoy wherever they go.
