Calling all young creators! The Arlington Public Library would like to sponsor your work to be submitted for the Texas Youth Creators Award. This award celebrates creativity and innovation in media production created by school-aged Texas residents while also highlighting the importance of media literacy and lifelong learning.
The library will be sponsoring up to 10 kids in each of the 4 age groups:
- Pre-K – 2nd Grade
- 3rd – 5th Grade
- 5th – 8th Grade
- 9th – 12th Grade
There are 10 different contest categories that can be entered into either individually or as a group. Each student can only enter a category once but can submit into multiple categories. The 10 contest categories are:
- Animation
- Black and White Photography
- Book Trailer
- Coding and Gaming
- Color Photography
- Music Digital Composition
- Graphic Design
- Multimedia Presentation
- Video Recording
- Web Design
Submit your media production here by December 19, 2025, to the Arlington Public Library for the chance to be sponsored in the Texas Youth Creators Award. Make sure to review the general rules of the contest and follow the specific guidelines of the category you are entering in. If you are using AI to assist in your creation, you must disclose what type of tools you are using and how they were used. Don’t forget to complete a Copyright form for your work submitted.
Submission entries must be by students who live in Arlington, Mansfield, Kennedale, or Pantego.
