The Arlington Public Library has partnership agreements with Kennedale, Mansfield, and Pantego. Only those who are residents of those cities and have library cards can use their existing library card at any of our locations. Mansfield and Kennedale residents must go to their city library to obtain a new library card or renew their library card.
Students, faculty, and staff at any licensed daycare, primary, secondary, or post-secondary public, charter, or private school located in the Arlington city limits can also receive a free library card. Bring proof of attendance or employment to any location to set up your account.
If one of the other options doesn’t fit, you can still get a library card to access all of the great content we have to offer!
Individual Full Services ($50/year) - Same privileges as a resident, with full borrowing including digital and public computer services.
Volunteers who serve eight hours a month or more with the Arlington Public Library are eligible for a free library card on a monthly basis. Find out more about volunteering with us!
